Move Like a Pro—Spice Up Training with a New Routine

  • Team Amino Vital expert Paula Smith shared one of her favorite “High-Intensity Interval Training” or HIIT routines. HIIT is a lot like circuit training and helps to burn fat, improve endurance, and build strength. It’s a workout that has low- to moderate-intensity intervals alternated with high-intensity intervals.
  • If you’re looking for moves that you can continue to build on, we recommend taking a look at Coach Noss’s exercise progression series. In this 8-part series, he walks through a progression of corrective, functional and strength building moves that you can pick and choose from depending on where you are physically and what you’re trying to accomplish.
  • Tight on time? Team Amino Vital seasoned triathlete and coach Jenny Lagerquist shares a quick, yet effective routine that can be done in your living room. She recommends that if you’re just starting out, do 2 sets of 8 to 10 reps and build from there.
