All you need for this workout is a partner and a medicine ball.

Medicine Ball Sit-Ups

Sit with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Your partner should also be in the same position with the front of their feet close to yours (this sounds odd). One of you will start with the medicine ball. With extended arms, hold the ball in front of you. Roll down slowly until you are laying with your back flat on the ground. Bring the medicine ball over your head and back in front of you as you curl back up to sitting position. Pass the ball to your partner.

Torso Twists

Sit with your partner’s back against yours. You both rotate to one side to pass the medicine ball then twist the other way and pass the ball back. Focus on engaging your core for this move.

Passing Medicine Ball, Balancing on One Foot

You’ll need to use your core to stay balanced for this one! You and your partner will stand on one leg and throw the medicine ball back and forth to each other. The goal is to maintain your balance. You can make this exercise more challenging by using a heavier ball.

Passing Medicine Ball, Side Lunges

For this move, you or your partner will start with the medicine ball. You’ll do a side lunge and pass the ball to your partner as you move into a side lunge on the other leg.  Side lunges are a good exercise for targeting the sides of your glutes. Throwing the medicine ball back and forth requires you to use your core for balance.

Toe Taps with Medicine Ball

This move is to add in some cardio. You and your partner will stand facing each other with the medicine ball between you. Quickly touch your toes to the medicine ball, alternating feet one at a time. Keep both of your knees slightly bent and your weight in the balls of your feet.
