When should I take each product?

Action is meant to be taken pre or during exercise. The amino acids help fight mental and muscle fatigue while the electrolytes support your ability to hydrate quickly. Rapid Recovery is meant for post-workout nutrition. BCAAs help reduce next-day muscle soreness. If you are planning to exercise for a particularly long time, you may need some extra sugars and calories to preform your best. In this case, it may be beneficial for you to drink Rapid Recovery while you exercise as it contains 12g of carbohydrates, including 2g of sugar.

How much aminoVITAL can I consume in one day?

In general, a healthy man should aim to get at least 12 grams of BCAAs each day, and a woman should try to get at least 9 grams. Individuals who are physically active may benefit from as much as 20 grams of BCAAs daily, though most people require less than that amount. Studies suggest that up to 30-35 grams may still be generally safe, though the advantages of such a high dose have not been established.

Amino Acids

What are amino acids?

The proteins we consume as part of our diet are broken down in the body into building blocks called amino acids. Once broken down in the body, amino acids are used for growth and repair of tissues, making enzymes and hormones, supporting immune function, as an energy source, and as base materials in the production of other compounds needed by the body.

Should amino acids replace protein supplements?

For most adults, protein needs can be met through a balanced diet. However, for special populations such as athletes, the elderly, or those with specific dietary needs it may not be possible to meet the protein need. Amino acid supplements may meet this need. Amino acids in a supplement are different from amino acids in food because they are already broken down. Since they are already separated from each other, they are absorbed quickly and all at once, giving the body a small amount of time to use them. This is an important consideration for athletes that are looking to maximize the benefit of their protein intake.

Are amino acids safe for children?

In the lower right-hand corner of your desktop, there is a tab labeled “Earn Rewards.” Once you click that tab, under the “Redeem Points” column, there are individual discounts you may select: Though the amino acids in aminoVITAL products are perfectly safe for children, it is always best to consult your health care professional with specific questions about your young athlete before beginning this or any other nutritional supplementation program.

Can I drink amino acids while pregnant?

It is always best to consult your health care professional with specific questions before beginning this or any other nutritional supplementation program.

What makes amino acids vegan?

Most of the time, amino acids are not vegan. They are extracted from feathers or human hair. Our amino acids are extracted from plants through a patented fermentation method.
